Flowers and Milky Water with James Hinnels.
Back to Cove Studios for yet another amazing shoot! Today has been my favourite and most fun shoot so far!
James and I were inspired by models submerged in milky white water surrounded by petals and flowers, giving an arty and dreamlike vision.
So here we are, in Cove Studios, in a bathtub with magic white water...
Secrets maybe revealed...
To get this white looking water we filled up the bath with warm water, as it was filling up James poured one litre of whole milk into the warm water which created this look!
Our friend Ella Halliwell- Sutton joined us for the shoot as a model, and she was incredible! We both were modelling and helped James with background pieces, like placing the flowers!
We started with test shots before we added flowers, because I had never had a photoshoot in a bath tub I was very confused on what to do with my body but got into it after the test shoot!
James was so helpful with ideas and directing us on where to look or move, which made me feel comfortable and happy with what I was doing! One thing that I love is James being truthful, if I look bad he will tell me! It saves me the embarrassment.
Now for the flowers!
James and Ella placed flowers around me while I was in the bath, I couldn't move too much because it meant that the flowers moved away from me and there was a risk of them getting too wet and sinking, which wasn't the plan but luckily that didn't happen! (These were real flowers by the way).
After we had enough shots our time was up and we started to pack up, without getting too messy...
Water on the floor, petals everywhere, leaves, pollen... you name it, we made a mess. Easy enough to clean up though!
This was an amazing day and so much fun! I adore working with James and Cove studios is amazing! definitely worth booking for a shoot!
